“Fashion is the armor to survive the reality of everyday life. – Bill Cunningham.

We create the correct equation between Fashion, Education and Industry!!!

Fashion has evolved since its inception, taken the test of time and provided solutions for mankind since ages, may that be women’s power dressing after the WWI declaring the stand of women in society to today’s creation of masks in pandemic lock down. Each era has been different than the earlier. It has always played a crucial part in our lives. The glamorous image it illustrates projects the urge of mankind to bode well. It all started as extravagance, the luxury that could be afforded by a few of the society. And now with the worldwide transformation due to urbanization and the retail industry growth, it is projected to create 1.5 trillion dollar industry by the end of 2020.

Fashion has always reflected upon the art, science, society, culture and financial prudence of the country. It embodies the changes in environmental, social, technological and industrial spheres too. It replicates human contribution to art, architecture, design methodology and aesthetics. It has linked the sciences to the clothing business from the design processes to industrialized manufacturing. Fashion is the amalgamation of art and sciences in conjunction with commerce and management. Now fashion & textile industry is concentrating on trouble shooting caused by environmental as well as man induced problems and working on finding solutions and sustainability at core level.

Fashion & Textile industry has been working in agreement with each other from its foundation.  The ideas about design and manufacturing actually involve intensive efforts, collaboration and teamwork; perform in accordance with and on improbabilities of the changing times. They have witnessed and demonstrated the movements in art and design every now and then.  It adapts to the individual persona, cultures, principles and ways of life adding distinctiveness to their character.

Fashion and textile industry is like the iceberg visibly small industry connecting all other aspects of life to each other. The fashion brands, designer labels, export industry, buying and selling of fashion & textile, manufacturing units, the glamorous representations of styles on the runways, fashion weeks, trade fairs, styling, blogging and e-businesses has taken the trade of fashion and Textile a level up  in top notch industrialization. India being the hub of design and creativity along with being primary resource for raw material and manufacturing, the trained professionals are the prerequisite. Being the land of art and crafts and with the history of foreign trade from ancient period, it creates a solid base for the training and promotion of entrepreneurial force development with the growing industrialization in India.
