Imparting education is a passion for me. The academic year 2020-2021 marks my 19th year with SID. As the Head of Department, School of Interior Design, Rachana Sansad - I completely share SID’s dedication to caring for our students every day, while providing them with a meaningful learning environment. In addition to being a wife and a mother, my educational background includes a GDArch and MArch from Mumbai University.

I firmly believe that every student can excel and develop beyond their comfort zone, with the cooperation, advice, and guidance from our faculty. With our goal of advancing excellence here at SID, we are continuously exploring new ideas, avenues, and methods that are more effective for our students’ knowledge enhancement. We achieve this through regular and ongoing meetings between the faculty, and also with the students to identify specific areas of development.

At SID, for me, my students are the primary focus of my work. Over the years Rachana Sansad has been a well-respected and admired institution with many of our students achieving super success in their professions. I am looking forward to celebrating our collective successes during the 2020-2021 academic year.
